What information we process
When you call or send an email, we process the information you give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, address and information about the job.
When you visit the website, technical data such as IP address, time and browser type are recorded. These are used only for operation, security and troubleshooting.
The website has no contact form, cookies, analytics tools or third-party content.
Purpose and legal basis
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Enquiries, quotes and jobs: To reply to enquiries, prepare quotes and carry out jobs, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract).
- Legal obligations: To meet legal requirements, including requirements under bookkeeping legislation, under Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
- Operation and security: To ensure the proper operation of the website, maintain information security and prevent misuse, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interests).
Voluntary provision
Providing information is voluntary. Without contact details and information about the job, however, we cannot reply to your enquiry or carry out the job.
Recipients
We use suppliers for website hosting, email and accounting software. They process data on our behalf as data processors under a data processing agreement. Otherwise we share data only with public authorities when the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Our suppliers may process data outside the EU/EEA. If so, this is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the supplier is certified, or on the EU standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for more information.
Retention period
- Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted when the matter is closed.
- Information about jobs is stored for as long as the agreement lasts and then for as long as the law requires, for example quotes, contracts and invoices under the Bookkeeping Act.
- Technical data is stored only for a short time.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification and erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Send an email to post@handy-dandy.no, and we will reply within 30 days. If you believe we are processing your data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Security
We have technical and organisational measures that protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration and deletion.
Cookies
The website does not use cookies or tracking technologies. That is why we do not ask for consent.
